Harry potter in hindi movie part 1. San Francisco Chronicle
The trailer for Insidious: Chapter 4 is expected to drop very shortly, having just been officially rated, and may also have a new title to boot. One of the foremost franchises in the new generation of jump scare-heavy horror movies, Insidious tells the story of parapsychologist Elise Rainier (Lin Shaye) and her experiences with The Further, an otherworldly plane for ghosts and other supernatural beings that can be accessed via astral projection. As inhabitants of The Further torment the living, Elise puts her own life on the line in order to help those being plagued or possessed by these pesky poltergeists.

While Insidious: Chapter 2 acted as a direct sequel to the original, Chapter 3 was an Elise-centric prequel that focused on the earlier adventures of the investigator and her two bumbling sidekicks Specs (Leigh Whannell) and Tucker (Angus Sampson). Insidious 3 ended with Elise discovering an entity had begun haunting her personally and this cliffhanger acts as a starting point for the fourth outing. Shaye, Whannell and Sampson are all reprising their roles, with Adam Robitel calling the shots behind the camera. Leigh Whannell has also written the script.

The BBFC (British Board of Film Classification) have now announced that the trailer has been officially rated, suggesting that the clip's release is imminent. The trailer clocks in at 61 seconds and was passed by the board uncut, most likely in time to be shown alongside IT. Somewhat more significantly, the trailer is listed under the title Insidious: The Last Key, suggesting that the franchise's fourth installment will break away from the traditional Chapter titles and employ a subtitle for the first time.
Although The Last Key will almost certainly be Insidious 4's official title in the U.K., it's worth noting that the name is taken from the British ratings board and therefore it's possible that there will be a different title for the U.S. and worldwide releases. Nevertheless, the titular 'last key' will surely prove pivotal to the plot of Insidious 4, particularly when you consider that this installment focuses on Elise's own haunting and will likely be a very personal story as a result. [UPDATE: The Last Key subtitle has also been used in marketing promoting the Insidious-themed maze as part of Universal Studios Hollywood's Halloween Horror Nights this year, further suggesting that this could be the film's U.S. title.]

The Insidious franchise has proved highly lucrative thus far but every movie series has a point of expiry and there's an argument to be made that Insidious: The Last Key is that very point. Given that moviegoers have already seen both an Insidious sequel and prequel, the fact that the fourth movie is essentially a sequel-to-the-prequel may be a stretch too far for some, as Blumhouse Productions continue their attempts to avoid the issue of Elise being killed off in the first film.

Critics Consensus:Insidious: The Last Key offers franchise star Lin Shaye another welcome opportunity to take the lead, but her efforts aren't enough to rescue this uninspired sequel.
So-so sequel has jump scares, compelling main character.

The first two films were directed by James Wan, the third by Leigh Whannell, who also served as the screenwriter for all four films. Adam Robitel directed the fourth installment. FilmDistrict released the first and second films, while Focus Features and Universal Pictures handled the third and fourth, respectively.
The first two films center on a couple who, after their son mysteriously enters a comatose state and becomes a vessel for ghosts in an astral plane, are continuously haunted by demons of a hellish realm known as the Further until they take from the family what they want most: life. The third film, a prequel, focuses on the same psychic who helped the family; this time she comes to the aid of a young girl who calls out to the dead, and the fourth follows her when her own family becomes haunted. All plots are depicted as case files of demonologists.
Films[edit]Insidious (2010)[edit]
Insidious was directed by James Wan, written by Leigh Whannell, and starred Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne and Barbara Hershey. The story centers on a couple whose son inexplicably enters a comatose state and becomes a vessel for ghosts in an astral dimension. The film was released in theaters on April 1, 2011,[1] and is FilmDistrict's first theatrical release. A sequel, Insidious: Chapter 2, was released on September 13, 2013, with Wan returning as director and Whannell returning as screenwriter. The film's success led to it being used as inspiration for a maze in 2013's annual Halloween Horror Nights.
Insidious: Chapter 2 (2013)[edit]
Insidious: Chapter 2 was also directed by James Wan and written by Leigh Whannell. The film stars Patrick Wilson and Rose Byrne reprising their roles as Josh and Renai Lambert, a husband and wife who seek to uncover the secret that has left them dangerously connected to the spirit world. The film was released on September 13, 2013. It was a box-office success, grossing over $160 million worldwide, but received mixed reviews.
Insidious: Chapter 3 (2015)[edit]
Insidious: Chapter 3 is the third film in the series, written and directed by Leigh Whannell. The film is a prequel to the haunting of the Lambert family in the first two films, and stars Stefanie Scott, Dermot Mulroney, Lin Shaye, and Whannell. It's about a girl—Quinn—who is haunted by a demon after trying to call out to her mother Lillith, who died. It was released on June 5, 2015.
Insidious: The Last Key (2018)[edit]
Prior to the release of Insidious: Chapter 3, Leigh Whannell was asked,
If there is a Insidious: Chapter 4, would that be a sequel to Chapter 3, another prequel to the original or will it continue in this timeline or go to a whole new timeline?
Whannell replied,
I don't know. I haven't really thought about it yet. But for the purposes of this interview, I'll say that I'd like to explore the time between this film and the first film. That whole area there where Elise has rediscovered her gift, I think you could have a lot of adventures before she arrives. So I think there is a lot of room there. Pirates of the caribbean. We've kind of established Lin [Shaye] in this particular film as kind of this superhero, so that would be kind of interesting to explore in the other films.
[2] It was announced on May 16, 2016, that Chapter 4 would have an October 20, 2017, release date with Whannell writing, Jason Blum, Oren Peli and James Wan producing, Adam Robitel directing, and Lin Shaye returning to reprise her role as Elise Rainier.[3][4] On October 11, 2016, the film was given a new release date of January 2018.
